I Bought a New Camera!

Recently, I purchased a new used camera, and I couldn’t be happier!  She may be used and a little scratched up, but she’s my new pride and joy.  She takes beautiful photos and I know with some practice and some trial and error (since she didn’t come with a manual), I’ll be in snapshot heaven for hopefully years.

This is my third digital camera.  I still have my other two, and I don’t have any plans to give them up any time soon.  It always seems like I eventually end up outgrowing my cameras.  Still, I love them, and they have brought a lot of joy into my life and preserved many a precious memory.  They are more than simple objects.  They are the portals through which I have explored this world around like never before.  They have given me a unique perspective on my surroundings.  And I’ll cherish them forever.

Since my new camera didn’t come with a shoulder strap or batteries, I have only gotten to snap a few photographs.  I’m already in love though, and I’m forever daydreaming about the days and nights I’m going to spend behind that gorgeous lens of hers.  Be prepared for tons more photos.  I’ll surely be obsessed now!
